This is a character that I’m working on.  I designed her, modeled her, and will be doing all of the textures, too.  Someone else will be doing the hair, rigging, etc.
Done for Rebel Media.

Finished paintover.  I know I could have done more … especially to the BG and make it all feel more grounded, but that’s what happens when you get busy … certain things get prioritized lower on the list.  Here she be!

I’ve started my own lighting study paintover.  Tyson has been very influential to those of us who went to school with him, and these paintovers that he’s been doing have influenced us and encouraged us long after our college experience.  Here’s to many more inspiring works of art.

I’m really enjoying being able to work more.  I like the freelance gig I have at the moment and I feel like it will be of great benefit to me in the long run.

Scarlett has started taking her first steps over the past week and a half or so.  Being a dad is awesome.

Blendshapes test that I did for a character’s head that I built the other day.  I’d love to know what you think of him.  Cheers!
PS—If you click on him, he’ll move for you … I hope.

Awesome quote.  Certainly something to live by as an artist.

Old man speed sculpt from the other day.  Looking for a stylized, blocky-yet-organic feel.

My Sweetheart.  A quick sketch in my sketchbook from last night.

Some sketches I did exploring styles for a client.  He wanted some more Burton-esque style, so I tried to put some of that in there, but he also wanted geometric and to fit a certain character type … we’ll see how it goes I suppose.
